Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound for the price!!! Pros: Decent Low's, Mid's & High's. As always crisp & clear sound from JBL!. More crisper if you have optical audio output connected. Decent drivers; no sound distortion even at its highest sound. Soft bass will help prolonged movies and music experience without headache. Good for a 4 m x 4 m room. (Max: 4 m x 6 m) Cons: Audiophiles who loves extra bass (Low's) don't buy this stuff. Its not for you. Only 150 watts rms @ 95 db max loud. Dolby digital is only supported with optical input. Bluetooth connection is not stable, often glitch. Verdict: Decent sound bar with CRISP & CLEAR sound; Good for prolonged movies and music experience without getting headache. Sounds really goods if connected with optical input.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from At this price great I see a lot of people giving this 1-3 stars and saying "no bass" I think people need to get real. This is £229 your not going to get £1000 sounds out of it. For this entry level price the sound is well above "entry level" the bar is crispy and clear and the bass whilst not room shaking is a massive step up from tv speakers. It's a great boost to tv / movie sound quality for a very small price. Well done JBL!!!

Subwoofer too soft (hardly audible but can feel the speaker vibration when push my hand to touch the woofer) even at highest volume. Anything that can be done to improve it?

Asked by: LerKT
LerKT, I had the same issue. Then I start reading reviews and all says this SB150 subwoofer is not great. So, I'm actually returning and trying my lucky with SB250.

Does it support HDMI (ARC)?

Asked by: Nanu
Our JBL Cinema SB150 does not support ARC nor a regular HDMI connection. Auxiliary and Optical are the only inputs that it has.

I have purchased your product but I have a problem, i pulse the button of the subwoofer for 3 seconds or more but cant connect the speaker with the Soundbar. I've tried many times without result. Its normal?  can you help me?

Asked by: Peliton
Hi, Thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear, you are having problems with sub-woofer pairing. When pressing the sub-woofer pairing button for more than 3 seconds, then it should start flashing rapidly. If it does it, and can't connect, please try move the sub-woofer closer to the SB150, and try again. Please turn off other WiFi or Bluetooth products nearby, so that there isn't anything interrupting the pairing mode. If you still having problems, please contact our helpdesk for further assistance.

Hi there, The subwoofer on this model doesn't seem to produce any kind of bass. Is this a flaw with the model? I am really disappointed if it is.

Asked by: Adam_j_k
Hi Adam Thank you for the question. I sorry to hear about you problem with the subwoofer. Have you tried to pair the Sub with the soundbar again? If this is causing you problems then I would suggest that you contact the customer support, who will help you trouble-shoot you soundbar and if it is concluded that the sound-bar is defective then you can make an arrangement to send it off to a service-center. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to contact customer help-desk.

Hi I've just purchased a Cinema SB150 soundbar, but I can't find how to independently adjust the volume on the sub woofer, any advice would be appreciated  S Hurst

Asked by: Steve o
Hi. The bass control for your system is on the remote control, which was in the box. The bass buttons are marked 8 on page 5 of the owner's manual.

can extend the system by connecting a JBL charge 3?

Asked by: iloveJBL
Hi, you won't be able to extend the system since you won't be able to connect the Charge 3 as both auxiliary ports are all "inputs" and can only receive audio signals and not send them.

Hi guys! Sound level is very high when I switch on my JBL sb150 and I need to press down some times always. Could I configure the sound level at start? Thanks!!

Asked by: Henry007
Hi It's not possible to set a "standard" volume. The SB150 will use the input volume which is set from the source device. So if you have the SB150 connected to a TV, you should have the volume on the TV lower, this will result in a lower volume on the SB150 when you turn this on.
