Club 704 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for any setup. I've been running this amp in my truck for about 6 months now on all channels. All JBL speakers: 5.5 in the front, 6x9 in the middle, and 4x6 rear pillars. JBL speakers combined with this amp give the clearest sound I've ever had in a vehicle with amazing high and mid range. Im also running a 10 inch kicker through the Lh channel since it doesn't have a separate sub channel. I've gotten more compliments on how clear the bass sounds and how precise the "punch" is from the JBL powered sub. When I'm running it at high volume it doesn't have that obnoxious cheap subwoofer rumble. Ive always sworn by JBL and will continue to do so.

Will it run OK with GTO429 4" speaker?

Asked by: Anish
Yes, the JBL GTO 429 would work well with a CLUB 704 even if the ohms rating of the speakers is 3 ohms. What matters is that its power handling rating is 5W-50W, which the amplifier is more than capable of outputting. Is the crossover on the club 704 suitable for a component system with, for example, 1-in tweeters and 6.5 in woofers? Or should I look into purpose-specific crossovers for something like that.
